How Much Does Marshalls Pay?

Marshalls salaries for management positions are highly competitive.

Retail stores generally don’t pay their entry-level workers enough pay to make a decent living. This is because these companies know the employee turnover rate is high and it is worth investing more money in people who eventually advance within the company and get promoted.

Unfortunately, this backfires on many companies who don’t realize they lose more money when they don’t invest in their entry-level workers because it causes people to look for higher-paying jobs. Without a doubt, Marshalls needs to pay its entry-level workers higher wages if it wants to avoid such a high turnover rate.

The following information will guide you on the hourly wages and salaries offered in this company as well as other important information:

Marshalls Full-Time Hours

Full-time employees get approximately 30 to 40 hours of work every week. These numbers can vary from week to week and are determined by the management staff.

Part-Time Hours

Part-time employees generally work between 20 to 25 hours every week. In some instances, part-timers are allowed to work extra hours to fill in for other employees who call out.

  1. Marshall’s doesn’t pay well except for manager’s. I have been working at Marshall’s for 9 yrs. I have worked in most department and yet they have put me as a cleaning lady. I have asked many times to Mary, Lisa, Bob and even Val that I want to be put in a department on the floor and I always get excuses. I wasn’t hired as a cleaning lady nor do I want to be one. Your yrs of service doesn’t matter or your experience.

    1. Thank you for the feedback based on your experience. This information is helpful to our readers as they try to find the right companies to work for. Marshalls actually gets pretty good ratings from its present and past employees, who leave reviews on the websites Indeed.com and Glassdoor.com. Your comment is not unusual for any company; there are bound to be disagreements with management in retail companies. In some cases, management needs to do a much better job at communicating and treating its employees with respect, consideration, and appreciation. In other cases, employees are the ones who are lacking. You may want to ask yourself this; are many other employees unhappy with the way they are being treated by management? If so, chances are they are the problem, and you may have to look elsewhere for an opportunity.
